Acacia gardens, Stanhope, Parklea, Glenwood etc). If so I would be interested to know if you paid the whopping $23k (for a 2 bedroom) section 94 contribution to Blacktown Council? No that's not a typo, it's even more for a 3 bedroom, which is $33k!!! What I want to know is why would council charge such an exorbitant fee knowing that it's a quarter of the cost of building the granny flat in the first place. I don't understand why other councils are a few thousand, even Blacktown is below $10k but the Parklea area is so exorbitant. It's not like our playgrounds are made of gold!
