I'm seriously considering using reverse brick veneer on our Eastern side wall. From what I can gather (relying on snippets of info so hoping someone with knowledge on this subject can enlighten me further) it shouldn't really add too much cost to construction but will serve as a heat bank for us as the winter sun should hit it in the morning then release the warmth slowly back into the living areas during afternoon/evening? Similarly keeping heat under control in summer? Would leave the internal wall lexposed brick as we like the look as a feature anyhow (love industrial design) so my question is/are will it be a smart move to do so? We have the theatre facing north and the side faces East along with study and dining/family room. I'm asking my builder on Monday to look into it for us. Also we should be registered within six weeks God willing council approves the linen plan! Yay!
