Re: Metricon Henderson 42 50Mar 25, 2016 7:42 am Feeling a bit disappointed today, just had a big vent on my M blog. M had promised our plans would go into council this week and surprise surprise it didn't happen. I just don't understand how they can justify the extensive delays in their admin, drafting and estimating departments? They keep telling me our plans are getting drafted but the plans were already drafted for contract signing. I understand additional plans such as shadow diagrams need to be prepared also but it's almost been 8 weeks now since contract signing and still nothing. Did anyone else have such a long period between contract signing and lodgement to council? On a happier note I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter long weekend! I'm off to enjoy some delicious hot cross buns for breakfast... Welcome to our version of the Metricon Henderson viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81978 https://metriconhenderson.wordpress.com Hi M and T Did they reply to this? This will be interesting to hear for future reference when it's our time. I wonder what the actual waiting time is? Very Annoying if your lands already available and yet you still have to wait Will be following with great interest. And a happy Easter to you and family viewtopic.php?t=79203 Re: Metricon Henderson 42 52Mar 25, 2016 1:39 pm Hi Emmz, Thank you it is lovely to have four days off in a row The last contact we had with M (initiated by us of course) was to be told that they would lodge to council this week. This didn't happen though so I'll have to call them yet again next week. I understand that this whole process can take time but I'm just annoyed because we had to give our tenant 3 month's notice to vacate so we did that but now that time is up so as of next week we will have an empty house sitting on a block with no rent getting paid and our plans haven't even gone into council. I guess if I had known that M were so slow I would have let our tenant stay for longer so we could at least have had the rental income for a bit longer. I'm trying to be patient but it's soooo hard! Is your build coming up in the next few months? Our land doesn't title until June so we still have awhile to go. I'm just hoping it doesn't drag out another few months after that What a shame about the tenants it is hard to predict these things but I hope M have some positive news for you after Easter viewtopic.php?t=79203 Re: Metricon Henderson 42 54Mar 25, 2016 2:47 pm Have a happy Easter M and T, it's such a shame about your tenants. 8 weeks is a long time. Welcome to our version of the Metricon Henderson viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81978 https://metriconhenderson.wordpress.com Yep we had about 9 weeks until submitted to council. And it has been with council for about 9 weeks . We moved out 3 months ago and land was ready for Metricon 2 months ago as per the contract requirements, so annoyed and still waiting. Did M give you any particular reasons for your 9 week delay? Are you building in Sydney? Re: Metricon Henderson 42 60Mar 26, 2016 11:38 pm It was a big mess, they lady who we did the contract signing with left very soon after so we had to go back and give all the corrections again before submitting to council.
