Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 23, 2008 9:15 pm Had a problem with some things getting delivered to the site being the wrong rating and felt they were attempting to diddle me. The other day the roof insulation was delivered and it was r2.5 not r4 so i contacted the SS who showed me the order which was for r4 and he was quite angry at the suppliers. Got me thinking though, if these suppliers sent cheaper products to several building sites alot of them would'nt be picked up on. The tradies would come and do their job without really questioning what they are installing. Then the very next day the left over bricks magically disapeared from the site on their pallets. (late on a saturday) These would of had to have taken by a delivery vehicle of some sort that had some sort of crane. Has any one else heard of this sort of thing happening? I don't have the suppliers name but will be chasing it up. Building NB Hampton 19e finishing at end july 08 Re: ******* Deliveries (Or where did my other stuff go?) 2Jul 23, 2008 9:28 pm That's BAD.
