Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Starting out - but tricky triangle short depth block 4Feb 07, 2016 12:32 am We have a similar triangle but easier I guess as ours is wide at the front. Ended up going full custom just to get what we wanted. Using my LG-G4 to bring you this update. Re: Starting out - but tricky triangle short depth block 5Feb 07, 2016 12:40 am We have an easier but similar block. We went to a couple of volume builders but when we made the changes to their standard designs the cost of course went through the roof and the confidence for them to deliver a "non standard" home wasn't there. Custom builder costs more but came with a bit more piece of mind. We are in WA so sorry can't help on a builder. Re: Starting out - but tricky triangle short depth block 7Feb 07, 2016 11:14 pm I'd suggest you try to find a design that is orientated correctly, with north facing living areas. This will make the house more comfortable to live in, & will minimize energy bills.
