Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jan 29, 2016 4:14 pm Hi all,
After going from builder to builder we finally chose the floor plan that really suits our needs, The Amalfi 530. Since it is our first build, a lot of research needed to be done and thanks to homeone forum Re: Mainvue Amalfi 530 - Our First build 3Jan 30, 2016 12:58 pm Hi Lyn.. That's the Brighton brick right? We were considering that too but hubby preferred more brown color. Lucky chestnut looked to be okay as I didn't want to go up any more categories Marina Henley progress: viewtopic.php?style=26&f=31&t=81630 Marina Henley progress: viewtopic.php?style=26&f=31&t=81630 Re: Mainvue Amalfi 530 - Our First build 4Jan 30, 2016 2:13 pm What facade are you going with? Can't wait to follow your build Follow my build: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.p ... 1#p1481141 Re: Mainvue Amalfi 530 - Our First build 16Feb 04, 2016 11:16 am Hi everyone, Did any of you did tender and contract on the same day? Our admin said will just do it on the same day since our site cost is fixed. Any thoughts? Just worried that will not have ample time to review the contract. Lish, ah ha ah. Your build might start first. So I'm the one who can't wait to see all your build. Even after having 4 weeks in between ours there were a few things that was overlooked and not included in contract. Even after the contract signing there were a few things I pointed out that had to be rectified and that would need to go through post contract variation (we are up to the 4th one at the moment). Although no cost for us, takes time to complete and then the matter of sending emails back and forth Also, if you have time between tender and contract if there is something you want changed on your choices it would be easier to change before contract is signed. Hope that helps Marina Henley progress: viewtopic.php?style=26&f=31&t=81630 Marina Henley progress: viewtopic.php?style=26&f=31&t=81630 Re: Mainvue Amalfi 530 - Our First build 18Feb 04, 2016 11:39 am Thanks ponyang. This is so informative and helpful. I really don't know why they suggested to do it on the same day. Plus now, electrical appointment is also on the same day. .Oh my!!! Oh my!!!! I just wish they will send us an advance copy so we can review them before hand. Mainvue Amalfi 530 - Our First build viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81745 Re: Mainvue Amalfi 530 - Our First build 19Feb 04, 2016 9:02 pm We had our electrical appointment same day as contract since they need to have the final drawings for that so the electrical upgrades was a post contract variation. Our admin did try to send the contract for review before our appointment but due to some changes she only managed to send it a day before so I was up till midnight going through them Marina Henley progress: viewtopic.php?style=26&f=31&t=81630 Marina Henley progress: viewtopic.php?style=26&f=31&t=81630 Re: Mainvue Amalfi 530 - Our First build 20Feb 04, 2016 9:04 pm I've got my tender next Wednesday and they requested we do our contracts the same day and I said no way. I want at least a week before signing anything just incase.
