Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Arena at Officer - is anyone building there?! 3Jul 22, 2008 2:48 pm Hello and welcome,
Not building there, but friends down at Nar Nar Goon, so used to head through Officer a lot before the bypass. Would have considered there if we hadn't gone North! Got to the stage of thinking about builders yet? Jo I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. we are so far thinking of using NBG as we like a lot of their designs and the inclusion list seems quite good - we are on a pretty tight budget. Put down a refundable deposit to hold last years price, so are just trying to settle on a design. Am getting worried about site costs though - eek - Re: Arena at Officer - is anyone building there?! 5Jul 23, 2008 10:37 am Hi Peppapig,
I am building at Henty Park in Pakenham while currently renting at Lakeside; so Arena at Officer is just next door. It looks reasonably flat at Arena, so I wouldn't have thought that site costs would be awfully high. At Henty Park I have a fixed site cost of less than $5,000. Also Arena at Officer is a lovely area which will be even better once the train station is built. Good luck. Re: Arena at Officer - is anyone building there?! 6Jul 06, 2010 9:47 pm Hi all, I'm very new to this, just bought land and building our first home in arena at officer. Thought it might be time to revive this thread as there are probably a few neighbours out there. We have bought in stage 9 - harvest road, just wondering who else is out there and how far along you are? Looking forward to meting a few arena-ites! Re: Arena at Officer - is anyone building there?! 7Jul 27, 2010 4:18 pm Hi Peppa Pig, we're building in Arena too, our block is in Arena Parade. We settled on the 23rd of June so now frantically looking at displays! NBG is on our short list too - designs are good, and the inclusion deals look good (useable) value. This months inclusions make the house pretty much turn key. How have you found dealing with them thus far? Wish you all the best. Once you signed the contract, they will find millions excuses to charge you. And have seen their sites unfinished for a long time. 4 24824 As title suggests, looking at using the interlocking Pentablock stacked stone products to replace failing timber retaining… 0 17864 I am building in claymore NSW and this is shown in the building envelope plan. … 0 10034 |
