Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jan 28, 2016 8:40 pm Hi So we have a flat, level, sandy, Class A site with no slope or access restrictions in Eden Beach and estimated our site costs would be between $10,000 - $14,000. However, we have just received a quote from a builder who has given us a PS of $20,000 for site works AND that includes my partner doing the soak-wells himself!!!! Just wondering if anyone else has some experience with this and / or if you've built in Eden Beach does this sound reasonable? I think it's really crazy, especially as we're doing some of it ourselves. Any help would be appreciated Re: Eden Beach Site costs??? 3Apr 28, 2016 3:39 pm Ye i agree. On all the forums $10,000 - $15,000 used to seem like a fairly achievable figure but now it's always much closer to $20,000, often over. I wonder if they are reducing their house 'price' to attract buyers in a falling market and the upping site costs down the track I am not sure whether Perth has its own way of doing things in regards to this. Most of Perth has class A (sandy soil), except for some areas near rivers or hills. 2 13100 Is anyone building with Mojo and have a recent site cost tender 0 15952 Henley should give you some indication of site costs.
