Browse Forums Building A New House Re: MainVue Amalfi 532 - Waiting on Works Zone Permit 61Mar 23, 2016 8:32 pm Thanks Saint. The worst part is that we have no idea what they're actually doing now. We're having to ring and email them constantly to get updates, but the updates are hollow. It's not our Admin's fault, but nobody else in that company wants to take responsibility for anything. Management seem to be totally hands off, and don't really care about the customer experience. They're treating our house like we live on the corner of Bourke and Swanson Street in the city, but we live in a small side street in the burbs. The money they are charging us for all this additional Traffic Management nonsense is nothing short of robbery. I've been waiting for about a month for contracts through cause they keep making mistakes. If I were you I'd be asking for the oven allowance back and put your own in after handover Our Build: viewtopic.php?t=81147 Follow my build: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.p ... 1#p1481141 Re: MainVue Amalfi 532 - Waiting on Works Zone Permit 63Mar 24, 2016 6:56 am lish87 We just had our oven upgraded at no extra costs that helps. I'm still holding onto hope that MainVue will do the right thing and comp us the oven change, as it's not our fault that the one we signed for is discontinued. Re: MainVue Amalfi 532 - Waiting on Works Zone Permit 64Mar 24, 2016 7:45 am It'll all be worth it in the end. You'll have a different admin (hopefully a much better one) to deal with once you get to construction too. I'd just call head-office directly and ask to speak to someone high up and explain your issues. They should swallow the cost of the oven - push it back on them. Don't get me wrong, I'm not heaping this on our Admin, she does her best to keep us informed. The issue is that they give her so little information about what's going on behind the scenes, and absolutely no power to influence any decision making. I'm just venting because I'm beyond frustrated with our current situation. My mood will dramatically change once our issues are resolved, and we get handed over to construction.
