Yeah they've been very handy since my last rant. Seems like there was a bit of a rough period after they restructured their construction zones; but now it's all completed were moving quickly again. Even with the bricks still wrapped you can see they are going to be great! viewtopic.php?t=81336 Building with MainVue...Modified Ivory 436...our journey Re: MainVue Amalfi 532 - Framing 206Jun 12, 2016 7:37 pm Saint Girl Wow Camma, you've got great space there and I'm so envious of that big window in the bathroom!! But still nice and big. Yeah now that we can see the 50mm bricks, we're excited to see them on the walls! Re: MainVue Amalfi 532 - Framing 207Jun 12, 2016 10:06 pm You are going to have a huge living area!! It's really taking shape Cam, are you having stacker doors or slider to those opening for alfresco? viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81627&p=1505759#p1505759 Re: MainVue Amalfi 532 - Framing 209Jun 13, 2016 10:04 am JaneW You are going to have a huge living area!! Those two gaps at the back will have bifold doors in them. We're hoping it'll open up the whole back of the house when we want to. Re: MainVue Amalfi 532 - Framing 210Jun 13, 2016 10:09 am strawbola Please invite us over for drinks in the summer, the grand alfresco and grand family look amazing. Do you have an idea of how you will furnish the grand family? Lol, I'll leave the furnishing job to my wife, as I would make a mess of it. She wants a 14 seater table over near the doors, and then some couches around the TV wall. Pendants over the island bench, and maybe a rug. Again, I'll leave that job to the better half as she is great with styling. With something so sentimental, it has to find a place in the new home. We're going to have to get the 14 seater custom made. My wife has a big family, so even the smallest of get togethers are about 12 people. They all live very close by, so we're anticipating that we'll be busy with visitors for a while when we move in. Thankfully my wife loves shopping, so it's not really a chore for her Re: MainVue Amalfi 532 - Framing 213Jun 14, 2016 7:14 am camma18 Yeah I think I saw in your thread somewhere where you talked about your table. We're in edithvale! I was wondering whether you might have a pool table or anything like that but yeah a massive table sounds good. Are you getting double ovens or anything like? I was wondering whether you might have a pool table or anything like that but yeah a massive table sounds good. Are you getting double ovens or anything like? Our temporary accommodation is near Mordi, but our build is the other side of town. So it looks like we're not the only ones with a long drive to our build site. How long does it take you from Edithvale to get to Woodlea? No pool tables for us. Although it's something I've always enjoyed, I don't think it would suit the styling my wife had planned for the house. Re: MainVue Amalfi 532 - Framing 218Jun 14, 2016 8:54 am Oh I really wanted a double. But I don't think we want to pay for it because we really don't host that often. Its a good hour to 90 min drive to woodlea. It's ok for us but a 2 year old doesn't have that kind of patience. Thankfully there's an awesome Park there do at least he can enjoy that. We're thinking of moving closer when our lease is up. But we wouldn't mind another summer close to the beach. If it were me, I would definitely move closer to the build when its going on. We're lucky that we have plenty of family and friends in our suburb that drive past our place on a regular basis and take photos and tell us what's going on, but we still kinda feel like we're missing out on seeing the progress.
