My bank are asking for four things to be submitted to process final payment-1. a Certificate of completion along with 2. an invoice, 3. a certificate of currency(Insurance) 4. a claim form to process final payment which requires a valuation inspection of the property for a new home build by Simonds Homes.
My builder says they provide a certificate of occupancy and an invoice to me for purpose of final payment.
What gives? A certificate of occupancy is different from a certificate of completion. I am with ME Bank if that makes any difference. Anybody care to give me their pre handover experiences regarding these requirements. It is a little confusing.
