And I know what you mean about how expensive it all is. We certainly weren't prepared for how much just the bond beam and 1 row of pavers would be. Re: Our KDR journey on Lake Macquarie- XMAS HANDOVER 344Aug 06, 2017 3:54 pm cat_dunc That was with a sale 25% off apparently! Oh yes please send me the list. I'll pm my email. I called Newtec at Rutherford. We're going there in the morning, then maybe to Sydney. Undecided yet. It all gives me a headache! Why is everything so expensive [emoji17 Wow! Sooo expensive then! I'll have to wait till next weekend to check out Newtec, they don't seem to have any granite though advertised on their website. I do like the look of some of their limestone. I'm really just after a light grey paver, with the obvious choice to just use concrete pavers but they are ruled out as I think I really want the drop edge style around the side and as far as I know you can't get that in concrete?? Re: Our KDR journey on Lake Macquarie- XMAS HANDOVER 346Aug 12, 2017 5:36 pm Pool update! We have had the slab completed for the pumphouse/garden shed/toilet so now the pool installer can come back and connect the filter and see if everything is working ok. Then we will get the concretor back to do the pool surrounds and pave. We are paving right up to the pumphouse (it will form part of the fence) and 1.6m towards our alfresco. We plan to do a small garden of what's left between the fence and our alfresco area. Still haven't found a paver yet, off tomorrow to have a look around. All our pool pump equipment arrived yesterday Not long for you now! Checking out the limestone at Warners Bay tomorrow. I'll take a pic. Re: Our KDR journey on Lake Macquarie- XMAS HANDOVER 349Aug 13, 2017 12:09 am Yeah sorry I forgot to take one through the week. If you like it, ask if he'd further discount it if we ordered together. We need 31m2 I think (i need to confirm with mick). The guy got our price down a little bit to whats on the board. We might be able to get it down lower together? Then pay our separate delivery fees? Re: Our KDR journey on Lake Macquarie- XMAS HANDOVER 350Aug 13, 2017 7:32 pm How'd you go with the pavers today? My husband said there's another place somewhere in warners bay that sells natural stone pavers. Ive got to look it up. Also who levelled all the area around the pool please? Did tranquility do that? We paid Jack a bit extra to level it all out so it was ready to go for Mick so we didn't have to pay to get another machine in. Jack suggested it which was great. Re: Our KDR journey on Lake Macquarie- XMAS HANDOVER 354Aug 18, 2017 7:03 am Great. Did u decide on a paver? Doesn't it make such a difference? It will also make a big difference to all the dirt and sand that gets in the pool. Re: Our KDR journey on Lake Macquarie- XMAS HANDOVER 355Aug 18, 2017 7:48 am cat_dunc Awesome!!! So tidy too. Re: Our KDR journey on Lake Macquarie- XMAS HANDOVER 358Aug 27, 2017 9:38 pm hey did your LED light come with a remote? I dont know how to change the colour on ours. We dont have a remote? I wish we got two. The one light isn't very bright. Also did your installers leave a heap of rubbish? ours left all the boxes and wrapping from all the pool equipment and their glue containers, drink bottles, etc. Im sick of tradies leaving messes for us to clean up. Re: Our KDR journey on Lake Macquarie- XMAS HANDOVER 359Aug 27, 2017 9:47 pm I read the instructions again and worked it out Just turn the light switch on and off til you get the colour you want. Still wish we got an extra light. One isnt enough. boo. Re: Our KDR journey on Lake Macquarie- XMAS HANDOVER 360Aug 28, 2017 5:26 am We got an remote with ours. Is still taking a bit of working out to get the right colour, or combination of colours. It's not taut bright but I thing it will be ok. We have lights towards that area anyway. They left our site lovely and clean. The only boxes were ones with things in them still.
