What do you think of the whisper white paint? That's what we've got and we weren't sure about it when we first saw it in the house. Now its furnished it's really grown on me and I really like it. Re: Our build- Henley, Monaco lux 2 in bayside Melbourne KDR 311Aug 28, 2016 5:38 pm Thanks everyone! Yes Cam we are really loving the timber tones...it's all coming along just like we had planned. Libby we love it, we didn't want a white that would look to stark and so far so good I thin once we add our furnishings it will come up a treat viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81627&p=1505759#p1505759 Re: Our build- Henley, Monaco lux 2 in bayside Melbourne KDR 312Aug 30, 2016 5:55 am Hi Jane....New to this forum...came across your feed when I googled Henley Monaco home...We have paid our deposit to lock in the current promotional offers and base price...we are building the Monaco Lux Q1 in Botanic Ridge..just waiting on the development and titles for the land...April 2017....I love seeing your photos....have Henley been a decent builder? I really like your laundry cupboard set up was that a standard? I was thinking of the laudry upgrade as per Henleys pricelist but don't want the full bench like the display home has...so just a little unsure but really like your room ☺ Re: Our build- Henley, Monaco lux 2 in bayside Melbourne KDR 313Aug 30, 2016 11:53 am Hey! Thank you! Yeah we love the Monaco design and have been super happy with Henley throughout the whole process. we have scored some great trades and having a chippy as a husband he would be first to pick out errors and as of now we really only have found a couple of minor cosmetic things that will need fixing prior to move in day, structurally the house is great. our SS has been very great with his communication, we did upgrade to option 3 as we wanted some bench space as soon as we moved in and we will be adding in extra overheads with some open shelving later on. We just couldn't justify the price of a full fit out. We also have top loader washing machine atm so when that one gives in we will re assess the space! Glad your liking the pics all the best for the coming months it's a journey but once you ft out of the ground it really moves quickly which we have been impressed with from the get go! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81627&p=1505759#p1505759 Re: Our build- Henley, Monaco lux 2 in bayside Melbourne KDR 314Aug 30, 2016 12:07 pm I know what you mean...my hubby is a site manager so his attention to detail is going to hold up the whole process...I just know lol!!! I would love to see another pic of your laundry when you can get in next time...was the laundry option very expensive?? In the Monaco there is only the linen cupboard in the laundry and no broom cupboard as brought to my attention by someone Re: Our build- Henley, Monaco lux 2 in bayside Melbourne KDR 315Aug 30, 2016 12:52 pm We actually chose the lux 2 for that reason! that has an extra linen cupboard near the powder room as standard, we gave up that extra little kids room as we wanted a larger outdoor area for them, I think from memory it was only an extra $500 maybe I'll check later for you I've got some pics I'll post now. Had a little look on my way to kinder drop off, Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81627&p=1505759#p1505759 Re: Our build- Henley, Monaco lux 2 in bayside Melbourne KDR 317Aug 30, 2016 1:35 pm Thanks for the photos Jane...haven't found anyone building a Monaco so I will be following your build closely....We wanted the retreat as we have a 10 yo boy and a 14 yo girl so perfect kids wing for sleepovers....we extended the alfresco like the Q2...it's the laundry that gives me the biggest indecision so these photos help heaps in my decision Cheers!
