One For The Maths Experts 4Jan 17, 2016 9:17 am AJW Standard brick, has about 49 units per m2. Single story height lets say brickwork goes to 2.6m high. So 11.5x2.6=29.9 (say 30), double it front and back you get 60. Then 20x2.6=52, double for both sides you get 104, so 164 in total. So number of bricks needed is 8036. Less of course because you would have windows and doors that clearly don't get bricked. Thanks for that, I now have a much better idea of how much extra upgrading our mortar colour will cost. I totally agree with everything you have written. Thanks again for your always excellent input and advice. I really enjoy reading your posts cheers Simeon 1 3279 I would never build with Fowler homes. I built with them in 2021 and till date maintenance issues are pending. All their existing trades and businesses don't work with… 14 105587 They already have two well known ones (HIA & MBA) that many new home buyers mistakenly think are regulatory bodies that Joe Public can complain to. 6 18029 |
