Going to go fridge and lounge shopping in the next week! Does anyone know the best places in the newcastle/hunter region for leather lounges? ? Nick Scali have some great leather lounges, as do Plush. There is a Nick Scali at Rutherford or at Kotara and Plush is in Newcastle itself. Re: Freedom Homes Hunter Valley Rural home 50Jun 08, 2016 7:00 am Lots of great progress in the last week. Doors mostly finished, window trims, tiler progressing well with our wet areas, kitchen and other cabinetry delivery and install booked for next tuesday very exciting! One issue we encountered was with our entry door- carpenter stood for frame up near opening and it was about 300mm too high! Got the tape out and the door is correct height (8ft) and the opening is wrong (7ft) !! Mild panic attack but an awesome site supervisor said no worries it will be fixed. So he is going to remove some of the bricks above the doorway and make the door fit! I was so relieved as I was attached to my grand entry door! ! We have a big week coming up Re: Freedom Homes Hunter Valley Rural home 51Jun 08, 2016 10:55 am What a huge week!! So like your SS has it all under control. Looking forward to seeing more pics.. Any talk of a handover date yet? _________________________ Building the Noosa 26 with Coral Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80794 Re: Freedom Homes Hunter Valley Rural home 52Jun 08, 2016 11:31 am Will try and get some progress pics this afternoon when we visit love that we have access to the site whenever we want which helps to keep an eye on things. We are very lucky. Re: Freedom Homes Hunter Valley Rural home 53Jun 14, 2016 9:52 am Big week last week. All trims, skirting ans architraves finished as well as all doors fitted. Painters have been there since mid last week making good progress. .. pantry shelving finished Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Benchtops installed yesterday though installers made a big boo boo with the side kitchen bench/breakfast bar - they cut the pre measured bench in half lengthways to fit width of cupboards underneath but it was supposed to have a 300mm overhang for sittting at! SS has already sorted it this morning and it will be replaced shortly. I was having nightmares last night about it as the colour we chose has since been discontinued but apparently everything should be ok and they will be able to get another piece! Heading out to site today to meet shower screen man to choose and measure up screens and mirrors. Will get some pics of kitchen when im out there. ..
