Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jan 12, 2016 4:21 pm Hi Everyone! I've been scoping out this forum for a few weeks now, and we are finally ready to make the big jump in to buying a block of land, hopefully later this week We've been checking out display homes for a few months, and I think we've narrowed down our options to two builders: Plantation and Stylemaster. Probably one of the Retreats with Plantation, and the Bay Breeze with Stylemaster. I've seen a lot of posts about Plantation, so I already appreciate the pros and cons of that builder (hopefully!), but I can't find anything regarding Stylemaster. Has anyone built with Stylemaster? Have you got any feedback you could give me, the good, the bad or the ugly! (We're in Queensland) Thanks in advance! Re: Seeking feedback re: Stylemaster Homes 3Jan 13, 2016 2:34 pm Hi Musefan We are in the process of having our contracts drawn up with Stylemaster to build a Piazza. What helped us decide was plenty of positive feedback online about them. We got the good deal they were offering for Daikin ducted A/C, Miele appliances, Colourbond roof and half price carpet/tiles The large range of quality standard inclusions. We have had very little changes to make. The sales guy has been excellent to deal with and has been with us from day dot. No being passed from this department to that department. Knocking up a free tender with all the pricing for everything straight off the bat helped them stick out from the rest. A lot won't do a thing without us parting with some of our non-refundable hard earned first. We had a few little snags a few weeks back. I flagged it with head office and senior management got involved and saw the issues through till they were sorted. That spoke volumes about how these guys operate in a positive way. Stylemaster are a lot smaller then Plantation and that can be a good thing as well. So far we have been happy and fingers crossed it stays that way.
