Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building a Noosa 26 with Coral Homes 163Jul 07, 2016 7:03 pm Ben+Lindsay All variations returned, $530 for two gas points. I assume this is not too bad... Bank says that Coral will receive the authority to commence tomorrow, I'm hoping not too long until we get a start date Yay for moving forward! We had a start date 3 days after Coral received our authority to commence so fingers crossed for a start date quickly for you guys! How exciting! Re: Building a Noosa 26 with Coral Homes 164Jul 07, 2016 7:51 pm Dreambuild12 Ben+Lindsay Dreambuild12 That variation seems reasonable. I signed off on authority to commence today and bank is issuing it to builder tomorrow. Also signed off on first progress payment today. Yay for these houses to be finished and in before Santa comes How good is that! We are thinking it will be more like January February... but the sooner the better! Let us know when you get your start date! Will do..Apparently there is still no action on my side of the street, but I'll go over tomorrow for another look. It's great to watch all of the other builds go up in the estate. You should see stage 5 now, so many houses nearly finished!! A couple of corals over there as well ! Crazy how quick they go, what are the blocks that have started on our street up to at the moment? We might be coming up this weekend to have a look Re: Building a Noosa 26 with Coral Homes 165Jul 07, 2016 7:54 pm Ben+Lindsay Dreambuild12 Ben+Lindsay [quote="Dreambuild12"]That variation seems reasonable. We have had crappy weather up here this week so maybe that has slowed their progress a bit. They will be on the one invoice and bank will want to see payment and receipt of your portion before they will release their final payment https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80908 Re: Building a Noosa 26 with Coral Homes 176Jul 18, 2016 2:41 pm I had to pay mine before bank gave ACC.... Coral gave the figure to the bank which was however much higher than the contract/approved amount. That was a fun phone call lol Tara viewtopic.php?t=82565 Re: Building a Noosa 26 with Coral Homes 180Jul 18, 2016 2:47 pm Oh wow! If i had to do that, i would not have been able to pay mine up front! Avoca 25 in Gainsborough Greens Gold Coast viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81406 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 14055 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4367 Ask for references and speak to them. If they are defensive or try to avoid the request, walk. 1 75607 |
