Here is the ensuite from the display Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Yes there will be/is going to be a coral display at pacific cove, im going to check it out if its already up! That swatch is actually espresso, is it the one hiding behind the platinum micro you're referring to? I cant remember where the espresso is going lol but not the kitchen or bathrooms. I think the espresso is for the laundry or study nook. The burnished wood is going in the kitchen, bathroom and ensuite. I remember seeing a few of your posts from other builds, most likely tals, and that you have a huge house lol. I'll have to catch up on your thread when I have a few spare hours today or tomorrow. I've reserved this weekend to cleanjng my entire house. Ive got my last inspection on wednesday and wont have any time on monday or tuesday since i come home at 4.30 from work and start another job working ftom home 5-9 every night! Re: Coral Homes Avoca 25 in Gainsborough Greens 42May 24, 2016 10:27 am So I just got a phone call from the brickie. He's not due to start until Monday, but he says he's calling to see if I want to upgrade the mortar on my feature bricks ( which is a dark brown/charcoalish colour) from natural to off white for free! What a top bloke! Told him yes certainly appreciate it, would love the free upgrade! He said the house in the next street around the corner he's working on has the same colour feature with natural mortar and they look horrible. Happy to leave the rest of my house in natural since it is a light brick and nobody will see it, but I certainly did not see this one coming. Thank you M! I subscribed agess ago but it seems to have dropped off on tapatalk and I hardly log in on a computer! Everything is looking wonderful! I am so so in love with your feature tile! I tried to incorporate it somewhere- it is so gorgeous but I couldn't. Thought I might use it in my pantry down the track! Your build seems to be motoring along! Can't wait to see more progress! I was umming and aahing about it at first, and I actually wanted a more blingy feature tile but my partner convinced me to go with this one. Yes my build is going pretty quick , at least for now lol but seems all qld ones are though. Coral Homes Avoca 25 in Gainsborough Greens 46May 24, 2016 8:31 pm I think it's just amazing as a bling tile- just in a different way. I love my bling too. Trying to incorporate it somehow without hubby getting cross! Looking at pendants... If he gets even a suspicion I'm looking at anything with crystal he gets upset haha. What render colour did you pick? _________________________ Building the Noosa 26 with Coral Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80794 Re: Coral Homes Avoca 25 in Gainsborough Greens 48May 24, 2016 9:28 pm I picked hogbristle quarter as I wanted to match the render with my bricks as close as possible. My bricks are frost, and I didnt really like anything in the standard range so frost was my best choice. It looks a shade darker than the bricks but the lady at the colours showroom said it will end up looking lighter in the sun anyway. I hope she's right! Re: Coral Homes Avoca 25 in Gainsborough Greens 49May 24, 2016 9:31 pm I went with the same theory! Ours are moondust a lighter colour also.. i wasnt a huge fan when we picked them.. best of a bad bunch lol but now i really like them _________________________ Building the Noosa 26 with Coral Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80794 Re: Coral Homes Avoca 25 in Gainsborough Greens 50May 24, 2016 9:31 pm MrsJM I think it's just amazing as a bling tile- just in a different way. We tossed up between frost and moondust, i think sometimes its the actual display they have that shows it abit differently then on the house. I didn't like the frost display but have seen it on a few forum houses and it looks fantastic _________________________ Building the Noosa 26 with Coral Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80794 Re: Coral Homes Avoca 25 in Gainsborough Greens 53May 26, 2016 10:13 am Wow that is awesome of him to offer you that Manhattan 23 Ormeau Ridge Follow my build = viewtopic.php?t=80441 Re: Coral Homes Avoca 25 in Gainsborough Greens 54May 26, 2016 10:24 am I know! Lol im waiting i want you and hayley to get going already haha Re: Coral Homes Avoca 25 in Gainsborough Greens 55May 26, 2016 2:33 pm Hey Von, late reply sorry . Ok it's expresso laminex it's so hard to tell it the photos, it will all look fab. Hahahhaha we so don't have a huge house and I feel for you looking at my thread it's ridiculously big and full of the weird and wonderful. The latest photos are at the end when we had the plantation shutters installed. Holy cow that's awesome news about your mortar I am very impressed. Keep a close eye on your bricks and mortar. Any progress? Re: Coral Homes Avoca 25 in Gainsborough Greens 56May 26, 2016 3:12 pm No problems tribe re late reply, you have little boogers to look after And im so sorry i still havent had time to go through your thread yet, it will have to be on the weekend when i have a couple of hours. I cant wait to catch up on it. It was very good news about the mortar, im so stoked. Wish the other tradies would call for a small free upgrade lol. I have a stage inspector anyway to check on each stage so hopefully bricks pass with flying colours. Bricks are due next week but this week is only plastering so i wont be going to check on that until next weekend. I dont think there is too much of a progress this week to go up this weekend. I'm not exactly computer literate so couldn't get from general thread to your thread before. Suddenly the link works!! (Hence name Oldies) Wow, you're speeding along too. So happy to see another happy build without major problems. Everything looks good. Can't wait to see your tiles, especially the feature tiles. Re: Coral Homes Avoca 25 in Gainsborough Greens 58May 26, 2016 6:07 pm Hi oldies, thanks! I think the reason you couldnt link to my thread before was because i had problems myself linking in my sig using tapatalk and it wasnt clickable. I finally started playing around with it today and made it work finally. I think both our builds are pretty much on par, do you know when you get bricked? Im just catching up on everyone elses builds too. I am really jealous of your colour scheme on your roof colour and gutters, what a clever combo. Dat red doe not to mention your plan layout is fantastic! Avoca 25 in Gainsborough Greens Gold Coast viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81406 Re: Coral Homes Avoca 25 in Gainsborough Greens 59May 26, 2016 8:01 pm No idea when we get bricked. They delivered a few pallets of bricks before the slab was done but couldn't deliver the rest because the slab boxing was done a day earlier than anticipated and they couldn't get around the back. They had nowhere to put the rest because the reo and waffles took up all the room. Bricks haven't been mentioned since. You seem to be a bit ahead of us but I'm not complaining. We're really happy with our progress. I'd love to see what "bling" lighting you are considering for your bathrooms. We haven't got past the living areas yet. Re: Coral Homes Avoca 25 in Gainsborough Greens 60May 26, 2016 8:26 pm Ive already bought all my electrical and put deposits on my kitchen appliances so i'll see if i have enough left over for bathroom bling. Im counting on a credit for the fence but very pessimistic on this.
