Received progress claim today for fixing stage - as usual they have not completed all requirements, meeting SS tomorrow, will take photos and advise Coral that they have not achieved all requirements please cancel invoice and re-issue when requirements per contract have been achieved. Every progress payment is the same. Not all internal Doors have been hung, architraves are not complete, gyprock & cornice not complete to laundry chute. Question: What would you put in a broom cupboard ????? Answer: Brooms !! Right ? Ok... How do you put brooms in a broom cupboard that has 4 shelves ? That's right they have installed 4 shelves in the downstairs broom cupboard.... They got the upstairs one right though.... Question: What would you put in a Linnen cupboard ???? Answer: Linnen !! Right? What if your Linnen Cupboard has only one shelf ? That right ... believe it or not our broom cupboard downstairs has 4 shelves and our Linnen cupboard has one shelf despite what the drawing notes clearly say. There is light at the end of the tunnel now but seriously it doesn't have to be this hard. I work as a Project Manager in heavy industry, Mining etc. My job revolves around maintaining the project Schedule (program / progress ), Reporting, reporting, reporting and client arse kissing. I'm really finding it difficult to come to terms with Coral's disregard for customer service. I'll try and post some pics over the next few days... Hope they rectified your issue with broom/linen cupboard! Yes, broom cupboard now has one shelf and linen has four shelves. Patched but awaiting sanding and paint. Painter has done ceilings and one coat to walls, was supposed to be back yesterday but no paint yesterday or today, grrrr. Electrician due in tomorrow. Painter returned yesterday,was ment to return Wednesday... Portico Roof done yesterday, so all metal roofing is now done... Downstairs floor tiles delivered yesterday, tiler due back next week - watch this space... Electrician due back yesterday, no show... A/C installed vents & return air grille yesterday...Baths, taps, toilets, hws, delivered...might see some good progress now that Coral are paying us Liquidated Damages. It's looking good. Wish we'd thought of that earlier. We've changed it as well because we stretched the house we have a shower but no external window. I have to say that i am reasonably happy with the tiler and quality of his work. However i am disappointed with most of the other trades especially the painter. Just poor quality, half finished absolute bare minimum with everything.
