Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jan 05, 2016 4:25 pm hi guys, Need to ask a fence problem again. According to my approved plan, I need to build a 1.8m high fence. While consuling to fence company, they told me that I need to get agreement from all my neighbours. I understand that I need to talk with them. But the fence company also told me that I don't have to follow the approved plan to build the fence, especially if neighbours don't like fence to be that high. They said it is legal to build any fence under 2.0m high. My building surveyor is still on holiday for another week. So I'd like to get some advices here: what if neighbour(s) doesn't agree with 1.8m high fence and I have to build lower ones. Will that affect the final inspection for me to get the occupation certificate? Should be fence be done before the final inspection or it can be done after I move in?? A bit confused here...
