Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 20, 2008 7:15 pm Hello!
I know there are a few threads on here relating to Hebel versus brick, but I wondered if anyone had used it when building with M3tric0n? Any feedback on your experience? We're pricing up the Latitude and are quite keen on using Hebel so long as it turns out well and is price competitive. Specifically, I've seen talk about problems when it's not installed correctly, like bulging and visible lines under the render. Any M stories would be greatly appreciated. Yes me again. No personal experience. If you can't get any feedback from anyone, why don't you head around to the older displays that used Hebel. M or any other builder. Get up close and have a really good look at how it's holding up after a good year or so exposed to the elements. This is what I did with wooden decks etc. Turned me off straight away. Or else ring a couple of smaller well respected builders and just have a little chat and get some opinions. Jo I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Terrence Malick I was looking at different options for a fence for my build and Hebel PowerFence seemed like a good option (one of the criteria was a solid wall look). However, I don't… 0 5860 1 6547 1000000% definitely add insulation. I have in my home and it makes a big difference minimising sound transfer. Insulation is pretty cheap and definitely worth it 2 6146 |
