The 'interior' style back deck will help keep the cool winds out too. Great having a minor bedroom wing too that you can close off.. The U kitchen is a nice use of space and just allows so much more bench room too. One of my family members is building in rural Vic, and will have a similar sized house. As long as it's well thought out and flows, it doesn't need to be huge (our plans are too big, but that's the OH's choice!). She's having to orient to the north-west, as it's a very cool climate and so they use the west heat as well. Look forward to seeing it go up!
