Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Dec 09, 2015 9:24 pm I am building in a recycled water supply area and apparently this section of the NCC 2015 applies to my plumbing. How does this relate to my purple taps and the other outside drinking water taps when it comes to a "Vacuum breaker valve tap fittings" I don't have any such fittings as yet but I have not had handover yet either. I had my PCI last Thursday. Is there sombody who can translate this into layman's terms. Re: NCC 2015 plumbing code and cross-connection control. 2Dec 10, 2015 7:59 pm OK. I called Yarra Water in Melbourne (My supplier of water for Wollert's Aurora Estate) re this and spoke to the recycled water section guys. I am in a recycled water supply area and to be NCC 2015 B 1.4 (Cross-connection control) plumbing code compliant to be able to recieve a certificate of plumbing compliance, Yarra Water needs to do a third and final inspection. This inspection will require that the 3 outside drinking water taps have the vacuum breaker valve tap fitting to all three outside taps. They are about a $20 Bunnings item. thanks guys! yes this is how I've exactly raised it with the builder. still awaiting response. 12 6026 Whats in the gap between the fence and the concrete? I'm spoke to the builder I'm not sure if this is all true but basically went along the lines of they considered all options and if I was to compact and fill it… 2 6386 |
