Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Dec 07, 2015 11:18 pm We had two quotes for the retaining down our zero boundary before reading the small print and discovering any retaining along areas of fill had to be done by the building firm. Fair enough, it covers them. But their quote is $1000 more than the highest independent quote. Has anyone successfully negotiated major things like this with their builder? I’ll do more research and see what figures I get. Thank you! 8 2478 If so what were the "special circumstances" under which it was granted?
