When we start I will get the quotation done as an H1 slab, that way it will be money in the bank if they downgrade. It's good from a soil perspective. I think our blocks would be similar. i think we will be up there in 3-4 weeks time. Hope to see you moving in lol Regards Graham and Kathy Owners of 2.5 acres of Paradise.......now working towards the house! Re: Coral Homes - Longreach 33 - Clarence Town 71May 27, 2016 11:20 am Posting to follow. I just looooove acerage threads. My partner and i built with a local builder our own homestead style design last year on 2.5 acres and loved every bit of it. I haven't posted in forever but your'e welcome to check it out sometime. I love the Longreach design and look forward to seeing yours come to life. We also went with a similar color garage door (colorbond terrain) and same roof colour. Just different bricks to yours - moon dust PGH. Follow our build - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=77542 Re: Coral Homes - Longreach 33 - Clarence Town 72May 27, 2016 11:25 am M+JHillview Posting to follow. We looked at the Moon Dust, but picked the Mocha (formerly Dark Rum) I'll definitely have a look at your thread too. We can't wait until it's ready!!! You must almost be at lock up stage now. Regards Graham and Kathy Owners of 2.5 acres of Paradise.......now working towards the house! Re: Coral Homes - Longreach 33 - Clarence Town 74Jun 01, 2016 10:33 am We had no progress last week - but the builders are back with a vengeance this week and again powering on. - Gyprock is going up as we speak and it's looking SO GOOD. The plan is to be at lock up next week with plans to do our walk through in about 4-5 weeks (if all the stars align) Follow our Coral Homes Longreach 33 in the Hunter here: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81055 Re: Coral Homes - Longreach 33 - Clarence Town 75Jun 01, 2016 10:34 am Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Follow our Coral Homes Longreach 33 in the Hunter here: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81055 Re: Coral Homes - Longreach 33 - Clarence Town 76Jun 01, 2016 11:54 am Glad to see they are moving again. They should not be claiming any rain days from you now that the roof is on. There may have been a delay to allow the timber framing to dry out prior to cladding it, otherwise there will be movement in the timber frame when the gyprock has been put on. The timber frame needs to be below a certain moisture content (8% IIRC) before cladding. Regards Graham and Kathy Owners of 2.5 acres of Paradise.......now working towards the house!
