Also love the look of the side with the bay window purdeh. Cap - Sarking was an upgrade for me too, I didn't have to have it as no bushfire in our estate, but I wanted it anyway. You usually only get it as standard if you have a colorbond roof. Re: Built on a corner block in Melbourne. Moved in pics 543Oct 05, 2016 5:36 am capricorn Charley, how is your landscaping? Well, the turf is still green, all this rain has helped as I haven't needed the sprinkler on every day. The quote included turf and garden beds but he ran out of soil and I still need soil in front garden beds, he said he was coming back the following week to put soil in but haven't seen or heard from him. I'll give it another week and if he hasn't been back we'll just go get some bags of soil and do it ourselves! We have to keep the turf wet all the time for 6 weeks. Been buying a few bits and pieces from Masters with their discounts. Quite sunny in the alfresco late afternoon so will have to look at getting some pull down shade blinds for there and by the time the garden is full of plants, think it will take a good 12 months to settle in properly. I am looking forward to when I can make a start on my secret garden but for now been trying to get front done. Have planted a magnolia in front lawn, we did the garden leading to front door this weekend and have just put plants from pots in garden next to driveway, I still need to get soil and bark for there which I will do in a couple of weeks. Doesn't look much but the plants will grow and spread eventually!
