Wish we had your cleaners our windows (outside)are still covered in plaster etc i'm sure they will fix that at maintenance Re: HGWA Tuckey Cove house plan 372Jul 17, 2016 10:04 am Petad Good move getting a painter in. Wish we had your cleaners our windows (outside)are still covered in plaster etc i'm sure they will fix that at maintenance I'm glad you're happy with the vinyl planks. We made that choice partly because of our dog and the grandkids and also hopefully they are a bit warmer under feet than tiles. I guess we were just lucky with the cleaners. It does make such a difference. Hope you are enjoying your new house and are settling in. When you get time it would be lovely to see more pictures. Re: HGWA Tuckey Cove house plan 374Jul 17, 2016 8:22 pm Robina - we are having vinyl planks in our new place after putting in the cheap Bunnings vinyl planks in our current home. We've been very impressed with them - they don't get super cold in winter like tiles, they are extremely durable and have handled dog, cat and niece with no problems. The only place they have worn a tad is under the dining room chairs. When it comes time to sell we'll just rip up the few lightly damaged planks and put the spare ones down. Hopefully better quality vinyl planks won't even wear under the constant scraping of the chairs!
