Browse Forums Building A New House SLIGHTLY WARPED Southport HGWA Madora Bay WA 82Dec 15, 2015 12:01 am We got the front of our home and the alfresco rendered. It's all personal preference though. Check the height of you vanity units, ours was only 780mm after the essastone stone went on. We moved it up to 850mm as hubby is 6'3 and it was way to low. Re: SLIGHTLY WARPED Southport HGWA Madora Bay WA 83Dec 19, 2015 1:34 am Your house looks fantastic Spuddles Prestart always gives you a heart attack when you get it back. I still spent almost $16000 when I didn't want to go over $10 000. Hopefully you can get some things done after handover to save some money My Home Group build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=77067 Re: SLIGHTLY WARPED Southport HGWA Madora Bay WA 85Dec 19, 2015 8:19 am koll1 Your house looks fantastic Spuddles Prestart always gives you a heart attack when you get it back. Both the wifey and I are very happy with the design, especially that she gets her own HUGE dressing area. Got it down to about $25k so far. Have to wait till I get back home so the wifey and I can negotiate some more. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80963&start=10#p1475600 Re: SLIGHTLY WARPED Southport HGWA Madora Bay WA 86Dec 19, 2015 8:21 am jpmontoya We are also getting partial rendering in the back. You can do it afterwards so leave it out if you don't have to do now. Thanks jpmontoya. I'll be suggesting that to the wifey for sure. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80963&start=10#p1475600 Re: SLIGHTLY WARPED Southport HGWA Madora Bay WA 87Dec 23, 2015 11:50 pm Did anyone else go back to pre-start?? Thinking of going back to double check/finalise our picks. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80963&start=10#p1475600 Re: SLIGHTLY WARPED Southport HGWA Madora Bay WA 88Dec 25, 2015 8:58 am No, once was enough Another thing to check is the height of your vanities. Our ensuite one was very low so we had it moved up 70mm after they put it in. Bench height was only 780mm and since we have undermount sinks also it was way to low for my 6'3 husband. Merry Christmas Re: SLIGHTLY WARPED Southport HGWA Madora Bay WA 90Dec 26, 2015 5:06 pm Who did you build with Pinkjam? We were at Prestart for 8 hours and we went over everything and left there happy. We did a lot of research though and knew what we wanted Re: SLIGHTLY WARPED Southport HGWA Madora Bay WA 91Dec 27, 2015 6:54 pm We got every bench and vanity in the house done to 100cm from tiled floor finish ( not the concrete floor. ) It makes such a difference!! I have just loved it and hubby is 6 ft 4 so its good for him. Re: SLIGHTLY WARPED Southport HGWA Madora Bay WA 93Jan 08, 2016 11:18 am Has anyone used two types of cornice in their homes? Thinking of using trio in the main areas, and cove in the minor bedrooms. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80963&start=10#p1475600 Re: SLIGHTLY WARPED Southport HGWA Madora Bay WA 94Jan 08, 2016 11:22 am We went with the included cornice because we couldn't afford the upgrade. Boo! I like the sound of the two different cornices though Re: SLIGHTLY WARPED Southport HGWA Madora Bay WA 95Jan 08, 2016 12:17 pm Sounds good? Haven't seen it happen but haven't noticed either SLIGHTLY WARPED Southport HGWA Madora Bay WA 96Jan 08, 2016 8:13 pm Most Ben trager and 101 residential displays have the trio cornices in the living areas and normal ones everywhere else... I only noticed the upgraded ones until someone pointed it out to me Re: SLIGHTLY WARPED Southport HGWA Madora Bay WA 97Jan 08, 2016 8:37 pm We were going to do that just ended up doing the whole thing. Cara on here her house has them in the main living but standard everywhere else. can't remember who she built with her thread title is cara and matt's build or something like that. Will upload our plans later. Building signature circle, meadow springs. Interesting read. Thank you. We have chosen the tiles etc, now waiting on Prestart. Very exciting. Re: SLIGHTLY WARPED Southport HGWA Madora Bay WA 100Jan 09, 2016 7:24 am Welcome Brown2008. I love signature circle too, that was my first preference. Cannot wait to see yours. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80963&start=10#p1475600 It's hard to comment as the photos area bit dark ( you might need a new 15 - just got one and wow ) Jokes aside, I can see one member that is cracked.
