Lucky about the waterfall bench we got quote 2500 Re: SLIGHTLY WARPED Southport HGWA Madora Bay WA 43Dec 04, 2015 9:42 am Morning Don't know whether this is the same thing but I just checked out Prestart variation sheet and we chose h2 and h3 slimline handles throughout on most of our lower cabinets and we were charged $276 Also on all overhead cupboards kitchen and laundry 10mm finger grips no charge. Re: SLIGHTLY WARPED Southport HGWA Madora Bay WA 45Dec 04, 2015 10:10 pm Oh ok I see, what the selection pretty average? Re: SLIGHTLY WARPED Southport HGWA Madora Bay WA 46Dec 04, 2015 10:36 pm Selection was quite extensive. It's just there wasn't anything that really stood out to us. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80963&start=10#p1475600 Re: SLIGHTLY WARPED Southport HGWA Madora Bay WA 47Dec 04, 2015 10:39 pm Mmmm our pre start folder didn't come with handles I don't think... Just the door handles not for kitchen cupboards maybe I should ask before meeting Re: SLIGHTLY WARPED Southport HGWA Madora Bay WA 48Dec 04, 2015 10:39 pm Did you get a chance to take some photos of your selections? Re: SLIGHTLY WARPED Southport HGWA Madora Bay WA 49Dec 04, 2015 11:38 pm This is me with the 'that's going to cost extra' face. When we went through our pre start folder, we threw out all the bits that we didn't want. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80963&start=10#p1475600 Re: SLIGHTLY WARPED Southport HGWA Madora Bay WA 51Dec 05, 2015 7:46 am Oh we are building with commodore so it might be a little bit different! Haha lovely photo. I mean your selections such as colours etc? Re: SLIGHTLY WARPED Southport HGWA Madora Bay WA 52Dec 05, 2015 11:22 am I'll post pics of colours and selections up later. Thinking about picking materials from a third party and getting them installed later. I know most of you do things like flooring, splashbacks, and WIR fitouts....but I'm talking about hand basins and taps to bathroom, powder room and ensuite. We like the taps coming out of the wall, rather than the basin. HGWA were going to charge us (for total 4 basins only) $5400. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80963&start=10#p1475600 Re: SLIGHTLY WARPED Southport HGWA Madora Bay WA 53Dec 05, 2015 1:24 pm Perhaps speak to a plumber and ask how much it will cost once all is complete. I asked one about some basins I wanted and he said that it would costs more to do later then during construction. They will have a good idea of the building process Re: SLIGHTLY WARPED Southport HGWA Madora Bay WA 54Dec 05, 2015 2:21 pm Think you will find you will be very limited as to what you can do/supply yourself spuddles. Home group unfortunately are not very flexible with certain things. Obviously things like handles etc would be no issue at all but not sure about plumbing items etc but it never hurts to ask!
Re: SLIGHTLY WARPED Southport HGWA Madora Bay WA 55Dec 05, 2015 6:27 pm Oh dear. See how we go. Went to Reece to look at basins. Dearest basin was $450 retail. So I don't know how HGWA come up with their prices. Convincing the Wifey to go with no handles, and push to open latches (2 for $12 retail at Masters). Masters also do splashbacks. Supply and install (including measurements and all cutouts for $480 square metre. I'll try and get a quote through glassrange WA too. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80963&start=10#p1475600 Re: SLIGHTLY WARPED Southport HGWA Madora Bay WA 56Dec 05, 2015 7:02 pm Ahh push to open handles are very expensive through Home group but surely they will just let you leave off all handles. I'm sure other people on this forum have done this with Homegroup You might have a problem with the taps but splash backs and flooring should be fine. Hope they are more flexible for you. Re: SLIGHTLY WARPED Southport HGWA Madora Bay WA 57Dec 05, 2015 8:53 pm Plan looks great! Looking forward to reading about your build Re: SLIGHTLY WARPED Southport HGWA Madora Bay WA 58Dec 06, 2015 1:13 am We brought all of our own tapware and RI are installing for us. We got a $500 credit for this and we brought the taps we wanted. Our undermount basins we asked for are from Raymor and under a third of the price of the caroma ones they were offering as an upgrade. We also brought our own tiles and hired our own tiler which saved us thousands as we are having floor to ceiling. Re: SLIGHTLY WARPED Southport HGWA Madora Bay WA 59Dec 06, 2015 1:25 am Thanks Gilbert106. I'm waiting to hear back from HGWA in regards to all the costings for everything. I worked out it would cost us $4100 (retail supply and install) to go through Masters using Glasskote (same splashback that we have picked through HGWA) so see how we go. We already put in floor to ceiling tiles in wet areas before pre-start. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80963&start=10#p1475600 Re: SLIGHTLY WARPED Southport HGWA Madora Bay WA 60Dec 06, 2015 1:49 pm Geez splash backs are expensive arn't they! We have a window for ours so never knew the price of them. You have a lovely plan and I love your ensuite set out It's hard to comment as the photos area bit dark ( you might need a new 15 - just got one and wow ) Jokes aside, I can see one member that is cracked. I would find a… 2 2205 |
