Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 25, 2015 9:05 pm Hello and Welcome to our Build – Noosa 26 Coral Homes – Cameron Park A little about us. We have 2 crazy kids, Bella 7 and Logan 5, my husband Matt and me, Ashlee. We both work full time, Matt is a Warehouse Manager and I am currently in Customer Service with a Purchasing background. We love life, and are a busy family with a passion for sports - Rugby League in Winter and Cricket in Summer. We have had a long road to this point with selling our home in 2013 and buying out block in Cameron Park in 2014 which didn’t settle until January 2015. We were close to submitting to council with a Noosa 29 but I lost my job in February 2015 which put a stop on the build process. In the time we were waiting we questioned if the Noosa 29 was the best house for us. We met with other builders and looked at other designs but eventually made the decision on the Noosa 26. A brief timeline of our progress since signing the contract: 26.09.15 – Contract Signing 26.10.15 – Electrical Appointment 30.10.15 – Tiles Appointment 06.11.15 – Colour Appointment 13.11.15 – Council Submission 24.11.15 – Council Approval I will post more in relation to site plan and elevations and colours I hope you enjoy our thread. https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80908 Re: Coral Homes Noosa 26 - Cameron Park 2Nov 25, 2015 9:23 pm Lovely to see you started. Looking forward to following your build, our timelines look very similar, we went to council on the same date, but sadly ours is still there Your colours are beautiful, can't wait to see what else you've chosen and watch it all come together! I notice that you require some retaining walls. If you also require water storage then using Our Landscape Tanks could be a perfect option. They act as an instant Retaining Wall when dropped into position that also double as a Water Tank. They look great and will last a lifetime. Easy to install and cost effective. Some images below to give you an idea on the end result you can achieve with our product; For More info, please visit: http://www.landscapetanks.com.au Or Inbox Me. My hubby and I are building at Chisholm NSW, which is just 25mins to Newcastle. Our plans were council approved before Chrissy, the build will hopefully commence soon as we sold our house early last year (February 2015) and we have been renting since. We have chosen PGH Woodchip brick too, nice choice! Loving all of your other selections too, can`t wait to see it all come together! My Homeone Thread - Re: Coral Homes Noosa 26 - Cameron Park 18Jan 18, 2016 7:05 am So excited to finally see some action! Yes they are. Jack has been great https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80908 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13718 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 1681 |
