Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 20, 2015 10:45 pm We have chosen Evening Haze as the colour for our windows, down pipes, laundry door and alfresco beams. We only had a small sample and the colour consultant suggested it looks beige and that it would match nicely with the off white mortar. I've been searching on google and haven't been able to find pictures of window frames in this colour... We signed contracts a week ago and tonight I thought I'd better do another search, then I found a picture of a roof in the same colour and it looks green! Can someone please confirm, is it green or beige?? Has anyone else picked this colour for their windows and down pipes? Re: Has anyone chosen "Evening Haze" colour... 3Nov 21, 2015 9:39 am Based on the colour calibration work I've done to model our house, I agree that Evening Haze is a close match to the colour of off-white mortar (off-white cement + white sand). Whether or not it looks 'green' is up to interpretation. It's more a beige than a green, but compared to Paperbark, it's more green and less red, and in some settings it does have a bit of a greenish cast to it when used in large areas. For small areas like window frames and downpipes, I don't think it would come over as looking green at all. It may depend on the brick colour you are going with. To confirm your choice, I'd just put the colour samples of Evening Haze, Paperbark, and Dune against the brick, and see which looks the best in combination. The colour samples are a similar size to the window frames, so should be a good indication. Here's a post with an evening haze garage door: viewtopic.php?p=651685#p651685 The picture of the rear garage door in this post is in evening haze: https://ournolan.wordpress.com/2013/05/ ... age-doors/ Hi All, we are starting to think of building with Masterpiece Builders in Victoria, has anyone had any feedback or experience with them 0 7443 I would suggest get legal representation.
