The rest of our house will be naked in terms of window furnishings when we move in as we are saving for the deck and shed. Plus we don't have any neighbours *right there* so can get away with it I got these for half price (yay massive saving. Packet says cream but they look really white to me). Our walls will be spirit grey with white skirting and ceiling and carpet in bedroom is charcoal grey but looks heaps lighter when light on it. Hope it works! These curtains are our temporary ones til down the track we can afford roman blinds. Beats hanging up sheets http://i667.photobucket.com/albums/vv34/beckles5000/image_zpsiyfdhkl9.jpg Re: H&H's acreage build - Roof! 44Jan 08, 2016 10:31 am After nothing happening for abit our solar hot water was installed today This is the back of the house above family room. The insulation stuff around the house looks terrible, it's been on for a couple weeks and copped some wind. I guess they replace it Next week it's full action again as trades return from holidays. Google them a lovely driveway tree Re: H&H's acreage build - Roof! 53Jan 23, 2016 7:23 pm ^ My Aunty suggested ornamental pears, she has 4 in her nature strip. They look really nice. Only thing is they are deciduous so do they twigs in winter? Re: H&H's acreage build - Windows are in! 59Jan 28, 2016 9:59 am Bricks have started! Went for a sneak peek this morning and will go back at end of day to see how much they've done. So far I'm happy with bricks, will be good to see once completed and cleaned. The front of house will look totally different once verandah is on.
