To upload from a computer i put them on photobucket then cut and paste the link from photo bucket in here Alternately, upload it to file sharing sites (like dropbox) and use the IMG tag above (underneath subject) and give the path between [img]your%20URL%20here[/img] Re: H3nl3y Homes - Bricks - at the PCI state - should I acce 24Oct 29, 2015 9:02 pm Sorry got to say it... That's very sloppy brickwork and I wouldn't be accepting it. Misaligned mortar lines, different thicknesses, mortar dags not cleaned off before it was cleaned and over cleaned in other areas where it's blown the mortar straight out(possibly as its not ironed in enough) and what's the go with the row of skinny bricks under the window?? You have every right to be disappointed in this job. It needs rendering or pulled down and rebricked! You have every right to be disappointed in this job. It needs rendering or pulled down and rebricked! I hope justice prevails now. I am more than happy to go back and check my rental agent if I can stay by 1 more month and push off all other work (Flooring, fencing, etc) by some time. All I need at this point is our first house to be called our HOME. and I don't wanna lose the charm of it just because the brick layer has screwed up the job. He was definitely upset with me reaching out to senior people at Henley. He still argued that they were minor things (related to brick clean-up and touch-up) and asked me to stay off the house over the weekend and not to take pics and complain (Reasons: he is having brick layer do a wash and clean today and allow it to dry).
I did tell him that not all issues are MINOR (e.g. cream VS GREY mortar). anyway, was in no mood to argue as it was inappropriate on my part as I have not seen the corrected work yet. So, will reserve my comments until Wednesday. it's a big gamble given that I've already notified by rental agency about vacating property in a month's time. all depends on how the work looks like on WEDNESDAY. With all your comments, I am gaining more inner-strength to STAND-UP and fight back. God bless you all ! I am checking with him to see what he thinks about the pics I have taken. Yeah, wait for the day when you can inspect it. Maybe those in the pictures will be corrected. But definitely take your time inspecting the property. Some of these issues are just about lack of regard in general. Let's hope that what you can't see is done to standards! I do not want to add anymore stress to you, but just say in an acceptable way when you are not happy with something. It's your right as the owner. Hope these things get fixed for you soon! H3nl3y Homes - Bricks - at the PCI state - should I accept? 35Nov 04, 2015 6:42 am Hello All,
After the email, I could see the traces of brickie at the place. However my major concerns a) alignment b) mortar rolling - overdone and underdone in some c) Mortar color for patch-up work seems to persist. I have attached few photos which I felt was unacceptable. Also, the entire set of images (including few taken at H3nl3y's display homes @ Selandara Rise, Clyde as of yesterday. I am keen to know whether I am fighting a losing battle here. Entire set of images (incl. display homes pictures) are available in [this link](https://app.box.com/s/o87fz8esg466c707i8fipgode0z7sb93) Sample Images: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: H3nl3y Homes - Bricks - at the PCI state - should I acce 37Nov 11, 2015 1:44 pm I won't as well. You should not have to accept that poor level of bricking! Looks like my 7 year old did it...in nsw the building code states that level of workmanship should match the display home of the builder. That grey mortar sticks out like dogs nuts and those skinny bricks under the windows the SS should be sacked if he thinks this is acceptable let alone didn't pull up the brickie for it at lay stage. I'd be fuming! We hired Darbecca to do every stage inspection, and I strongly recommend them to anyone that asks me. They were amazing. Thorough reports with photos at every stage,… 6 7128 i would not be signing anything on the day read your contract about when builder submits final invoice generally, have to meet builder within 7 days of receiving final… 1 4735 i imagine you also have another contract with an architect? and yeah, whatever other's said about special conditions and appendices 16 16001 |
