Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 28, 2015 2:42 pm OK.. So we have discovered a small issue with our Leisure room upstairs. When we had originally had the vision of how things would fit, we were going to fit a flat screen TV to the outside wall with the lounge on the opposite wall. Now that the frames are up, it's clearly not going to be possible to fit a TV to the wall with the size of the window. Some of our windows (this one included) were determined due to energy efficiency. So to options we now have are.... 1. Leave the TV on the outside wall and place it on a cabinet rather than wall mount. 2. Locate the TV on the opposite wall and place the lounge on the outside wall / corner. Keeping in mind that our stairs are also coming up along that outside wall, what would you do? View of the Leisure Room looking from IT area. TV was originally planned to mount on wall where window is. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ This is the wall opposite the window. This wall also has opening to go to bedrooms / bathroom Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Looking from the window back towards the wall where the TV may need to go now. The photos are a little confusing because it's hard to imagine the room with all that frame work haha. However maybe mounting the TV on one of the side walls which doesn't have the window/door and the couch opposite, if that makes sense. Re: Your Opinions Needed..
