Your house is looking good and really coming along. Can I ask - are you using Perry Homes Coffs Harbour office or Grafton? ~Shellby~ GJ Bridgewater 203 11/3/2016 - Site Work Started 29/9/2016 - Handover 142 Work Days 6 Work Days Over https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80174 Re: Glenreagh - Terrace 248 Perry Homes Build 24Dec 02, 2015 7:21 am Hi Shellby. Actually we used the Ballina office. We were living in Goonellabah near Lismore for a little bit before I could get my transfer to Coffs with work. However, my partner's brother and father both dealt with the Coffs branch. Re: Glenreagh - Terrace 248 Perry Homes Build 25Dec 06, 2015 10:47 am We're almost there! The electrician and plumber have done their fit outs. Only have the WIR doors, a clean and the carpets, then we should be ready for PCI! I managed to have a look through the house on Thursday and yesterday. we had our fixed wireless NBN installed. I've also found a few things that will need to be fixed after PCI. There's the usual bumps/nicks and paint touch ups and then there are the major things that I'll want fixed like the rangehood and the water tank plumbing. Just realised they won't be able to reach the shower head until they're teenagers. Haha. I've phoned the supervisor and told him I want the outlet and the overflow redone. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I want the outlet after the water filter to go underground then come back up to connect to the pump. The whole thing is supported by two small screws on the bottom of the water filter. You can flex and wobble the piping with a single finger. It'll be only a matter of time before someone steps on it by mistake and snaps the pipe. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I guess the plumber was lazy and didn't want to dig another 3 foot of trench, so he took the shortest route with the overflow pipe. I told the supervisor I want the bottom elbow rotated so it's inline with the board. Frankly it's an extra trip hazard at the moment and a bit of an eyesore. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ They installed a ducted rangehood when our contract specifies a recirculating one. The recirculating rangehood has vents on the sides of the chimney and I've heard the ducted version has almost no suction. Plus I bet you they haven't installed a duct above the damn thing and it'll just dump the greasy air into the bulk head space. I'll be climbing into the roof space to check and even if there is a duct, I'll ask for the recirculating if the suction is terrible. After all it's in the contract. Re: Glenreagh - Terrace 248 Perry Homes Build 26Dec 07, 2015 8:50 am Just got word our PCI is booked in for the 21/12. I checked the contact and all site works cease at the end of the working day on the 22/12for 3 weeks. Cutting it fine if we want to be in before late January. Re: Glenreagh - Terrace 248 Perry Homes Build 27Dec 10, 2015 10:37 am Your build has been coming along great. I have been watching another perry here and its been so slow, there were 3 houses started after it and people are not living in them, whereas this one I just noticed the past week or so its actually got people working in it and I guess have it finished before Christmas. Its nice to see all their builds are not that slow. I think depending how much you find that needs fixing I would be betting for early February to feel safer. ~Shellby~ GJ Bridgewater 203 11/3/2016 - Site Work Started 29/9/2016 - Handover 142 Work Days 6 Work Days Over https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80174 Re: Glenreagh - Terrace 248 Perry Homes Build 28Dec 10, 2015 1:22 pm I met up with the supervisor on Wednesday for a walk through. Things are looking promising. The plumber will be out before the end of the week to fix up the water tank plumbing and the electrician will fit the last power point that was missed. Also confirmed they installed the ducted rangehood by mistake. But I'm fine with this, it had okay suction but it was pretty loud. I'll be checking to make sure it's ducted to the outside however. So I've been given a time frame for the next two weeks. This week the missing microwave and concrete pads for the gas bottles will be fitted. Next Tuesday the cleaners are there. Wednesday a pre-PCI, we will put dots on everything needing fixing/finishing. This will basically be our PCI, get things finished and gave handover the next week. Also the fly screens and sliding doors will be fitted. Thursday the carpet is being layed. Friday and Saturday the painters and builder will finish any touch ups. Monday 21st is PCI. Hopefully ready for keys.
