Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 08, 2015 12:10 pm Hey All some help needed please! We have done a knock down rebuild through one of the volume builders & moved in a few months ago. It's now apparent that a drainage issue we have at the back of the house is due to there being no connection point to the LPD, even though sec 32 & councils plans prior to construction indicated it was. The builder has had plumbers out to the site, but the council is saying it needs to be connected via 60 odd mtrs of drainage to a street, through our new neighbours properties! Who's to blame here? The council, the builder? And what can we do to ensure we get the best outcome for us rather than them? Any advice is greatly appreciated! Building Standards; Getting It Right!
