Thanks guys - we're thrilled! Horse facilities are definitely the most important aspect, much to his dismay. Re: 7.6 acres in NE Victoria. 5Oct 07, 2015 8:39 am Looks great! How exciting to be having your horses living with you also Looking forward to seeing how your house comes along Re: 7.6 acres in NE Victoria. 7Oct 09, 2015 1:54 pm Had a minor hissy fit to the conveyancer today after a WHOLE bunch of mistakes during the life of the transaction, including but not all: Wrong spelling of our names on the contract, Incorrect Shire listed on the contract. Having to chase up "missing!!!!!" deposit myself. Incorrect address on legal documents. Anyway, boom - we got a refund. I've never written a complaint letter before so a bit out of water there, but their complaints service was far better than their original service, lol. Looking forward to the 16th so we can purchase and plant our first trees. Re: 7.6 acres in NE Victoria. 8Oct 11, 2015 4:03 am Gee thats pretty good. The conveyancer we are using is great but the person we are purchasing from seems to have studied at the same place your conveyencer did. Spelling mistakes, errors through the Section 32 etc. We've had to pay our lawyer to fix up their mess! Re: 7.6 acres in NE Victoria. 9Mar 07, 2016 8:54 am Phew. A long wait, as always, but we're getting somewhere. Our plans have been mostly finalised, bar a few small changes! Insanely excited at this point. Styling will be as traditional as possible, hopefully utilising recycled bricks, white mortar, black door, white trim and as close to gal coloured roof as I can get! We did away with the garage in favour of a bigger shed and workshop, as well as aesthetics - geez, wasn't that a fight with the partner, haha! Did you take a photo of that mockup on your Mac with a phone? You can do a Command-Shift-4 keystroke click and drag your cursor to take a screenshot of what is on your screen. Stewie Correct - however we don't have internet at home so I wasn't able to post from there except via the phones 4G, just a quick snap for my own reference lol. I don't know any guy that wouldn't be happier with a bigger shed and workshop ! Not so sure about black render, too!

Re: 7.6 acres in NE Victoria. 14Mar 08, 2016 12:28 pm Also, we bought some trees! I took my lovely mum to come choose them with me. We probably spent a good 3 hours wandering around the nursery... and Googling as we went, lol. The list of trees we ended up with: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The trees themselves Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I also bought 25 hi-bred poplars as an alternative to conifers. Not only that, but we have a neighbour on the 5 acre block next to us! Would love an update!! We're just making sure all our ducks are in a row, but almost nearly kind of sort of ready to sign on the house! Good luck with your build! Re: 7.6 acre build in NE Victoria. 20May 04, 2016 11:37 am No real updates yet, guys. I'm just fretting over bricks. Eco bricks? (recycled) - too expensive to lay. Sandstock bricks from PGH seem to be in the same ballpark price, too. Never knew I'd be so uptight about bricks! Building Standards; Getting It Right! Hi all, My neighbour has built his 15m long garage on our boundary. It was agreed as part of the planning permit that the wall must be in exposed recycled brick.
