Not going to happen. Damn you, I really like this, enough to try to figure out a way to tell him that he might be right I really like the bench top and basin youve picked. Researching split home designs for our KDR downward sloping block Re: Our First Build - GJ Gardener Bridgewater 595Aug 17, 2016 3:07 pm Was the house in Junction Hill a GJ house? Wow 4 weeks he probably had mini heart attack when he realised its that's close. Really hoping things start going at lightning speed!! GJ Gardner Modified Coolum 277 viewtopic.php?t=83643 Re: Our First Build - GJ Gardener Bridgewater 596Aug 17, 2016 4:08 pm CB - yep it is a gj house. Across from my estate a friends son built with craftsman, started 2 weeks after me and moves in next week. Splits - I think it depends on your colour choices. I like contrast colours so dark with light. Others go for light all over or dark all over. What colour floor tiles will you have in your bathroom? Mine are dark with white wall. Maybe see what mine looks like once tiles are in and then maybe relic at your colours. ~Shellby~ GJ Bridgewater 203 11/3/2016 - Site Work Started 29/9/2016 - Handover 142 Work Days 6 Work Days Over https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80174 Re: Our First Build - GJ Gardener Bridgewater 597Aug 17, 2016 4:12 pm Wow that is not cool, is there house smaller? What's GJ's excuse for there house being completed? I hope they pull up their socks! How soon did GJ go to council once you had paid your deposit? I really want to be in council already GJ Gardner Modified Coolum 277 viewtopic.php?t=83643 Re: Our First Build - GJ Gardener Bridgewater 598Aug 17, 2016 7:11 pm CB - the house is around the same size. I think it's just because it's in junction hill with about 4 other builds happening while mine is 10-15 minutes on the other side by itself so they don't want to go from there to mine and then back again to do the other house - so my house gets left out Gj went to council the next day after I paid my deposit and showed my approved loan. They were rushing and hoping for quick approval as it was October. Sadly it still took 8 weeks for no real reason from council. Kitchen guys have taken the broken part of my bin away and currently trying to come up with a solution to make the back bin easier to get out. The cabinet makers are fab!! ~Shellby~ GJ Bridgewater 203 11/3/2016 - Site Work Started 29/9/2016 - Handover 142 Work Days 6 Work Days Over https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80174 Re: Our First Build - GJ Gardener Bridgewater 599Aug 17, 2016 8:54 pm Hmm I'd be on there case every day!! I will make it known from our start date, I expect weekly updates and I will be a presence that will only go away when the keys are handed to me I hope we aren't In council for that long, DA's in our council are only taking around 2-3 weeks so hopefully they stay that way. Hopefully they can solve your bin problem ASAP GJ Gardner Modified Coolum 277 viewtopic.php?t=83643 Re: Our First Build - GJ Gardener Bridgewater 600Aug 18, 2016 11:27 pm Nothing on the house today, which I expected. However I have my signed contract back from the buyer....we have basically now exchanged *yippee* Now I can start packing and not having to stress my house is showroom prefect which has been hard with 3 kids. Tomorrow my garage door is meant to be installed so can't wait to see it and hope the dark colour works. So far everything has so I doubt it will be a issue. I got my update email today, yep now its tilers next week. Also start talking about driveways again....which now they are talking about it being to steep - I don't care they said they could do it - now do it. ~Shellby~ GJ Bridgewater 203 11/3/2016 - Site Work Started 29/9/2016 - Handover 142 Work Days 6 Work Days Over https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80174 hi guys.
