I really would'n't want that sort of person supervising my build. wonder what leverage you might have to get him replaced or located to antoher job? Might be worth suggesting to your neighbours in the interests of long term harmony and relations Re: How to P*SS of your neighbors... 82Jul 29, 2008 9:10 am Well i finaly got some answers. Bill finally gave in and said send us an invoice and we will look at it.
So we will do that. In the mean time, this made me laugh, he said they put up a fence to stop the rubish getthing thru to our land.... LOL They have finished the works on the outside and there is no way that pathetic fence will stop rubbish getting thru under the fence. It made me laugh so hard!!! http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i244/ ... encing.jpg Re: How to P*SS of your neighbors... 83Jul 29, 2008 10:57 am Annoyed Well i finaly got some answers. Bill finally gave in and said send us an invoice and we will look at it. So we will do that. In the mean time, this made me laugh, he said they put up a fence to stop the rubish getthing thru to our land.... It made me laugh so hard!!! http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i244/ ... encing.jpg I would be suggesting to them that you thank them for their gesture and will be very pleased when they complete the rest of the fence so that rubbish will actually be kept out. Until then you will be charging them on an hourly rate to remove any rubbish from them that finds it's way onto your property. I would also be demanding a written appology for the way the SS carried on to you. Give you some satisfaction if nothing else. Mate you have far more patience then I, I would have been sorely tempted to snot him!! His boys probably would have given me ahiding but at least I would have the satisfaction of giving a damn good wack in the gob! all some of these clowns understand. They obviously can not be reasoned with in normal manner. Re: How to P*SS of your neighbors... 84Jul 29, 2008 12:43 pm A work colleague told me this story.
A few years back, they built in a new estate, and the site behind to them had no fencing. The block beside tem was under construction. with no temp fencing for rubbish. The builders made a mess, threw papers, rubbish and building materials on the neighbours block (they had moved in)) After many an argument from the site supervisor, and nothing from management.he simply stated. OK. Council was useless. They were the worst words this builder could here. This man borught a video camera, and showe his wife how to use it. They then captured on video the builder and subbies throwing the rubbish onto their blocks, (here is the catch) including boxes with invoices in them. He carefully pciked up the rubbish and stored it at his work. He then proceeded to drive to the builder in question, ask them not to come to the front door, and dumped the 4 cubic metes on the front door of the builder. His reply was that he was merely returning what was the builders property. The police were called, and after seeing the evidence and the invoices, politely told the builder to clean up the mess before they would call the council to issue an notice for rubbish removal. The builder then tried to sue the man. He told them he would go after them for damages if the builder persisted. The judge lauged, awarded legal costs, damages, milage to take the rubbish to the builder, and reimburse for the cost of the digital camera. Not suggesting you have to or should go that far, but thought it might brighten your day. Adrian B Re: How to P*SS of your neighbors... 86Jul 29, 2008 4:04 pm When we built, the builder buried a lot of rubbish in the water drain off trenches. (when I wasn't looking)
The same builders where still working in the same street, on another house. I just took all the rubbish down the road to the other work site in full view of the on site contractors. I told the contractors the story, and said "dont bother billing me, because I've already paid for the rubbish removal, this rubbish belongs to you" Best Price Wardrobes Sliding door robes | Walk in robes Deco panel | Mirror | Melamine 26 to 28 Cottage lane Hackham M: 0402 927 376 http://www.bestpricewardrobes.com.au Trade welcome Thanks mate.
