Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Sep 28, 2015 5:45 pm Hi, I am new to this forum and just trying to find out if Carlisle quoted us reasonable site cost for our single story Indiana 29. Initially quoted us 12k then 15k before sending it to the main office and 18k final fix quote. Is that reasonable? Anyone living in the area can you please provide what site costs that you may have come up with. My lot has been titled for 1 year now and hope that soil may have settled to what was provided to us a year back.. All the houses around our lot are already built. Our lot is located in The Boulevard, Clyde North on Gillingham Crescent Fill on the land is around 1.0m to 1.3m with slope less than 300mm which is the same for all the houses around Thanks. Re: Site Costs the boulevard clyde north 2Sep 28, 2015 5:56 pm Is this boulevard off bonnington blv? Or kilora park? Second Build, this time with Carlisle 2016, can't wait! Re: Site Costs the boulevard clyde north 4Sep 28, 2015 6:04 pm Land is fairly flat over there. When we started we were quoted about 15k for single and 10k for double. Ate u building close to any easements you may know off? It would be more pricey. But 18k sounds too much. Can u ask them to justify why they need 18k? I reported it to the police, casey council and environmental society. I arranged for the clearance but it was cleaned up by someone... i dont know who... but ended up without paying out of my pocket.. hopefully it doest happen again.. strange... Re: Site Costs the boulevard clyde north 9Sep 28, 2015 10:04 pm That's a good ending, at least u didn't end up paying for it. How soon are u looking at starting on site? From the photo its fairly flat. Can't see why its so expensive! Carlisle quoted me fixed price of 15k for my double with almost 1m of fall on it in a nearby estate!! Our site cost is fixed at 16k. Land is flat with fill. Can't remember how deep is the fill. I think it is a lot and I don't know what do they do that will take up that much material labour ,machinery hiring cost? Anyway , we need to pay bush fire level of 4000 too!!! Re: Site Costs the boulevard clyde north 12Oct 06, 2015 8:07 pm Hi Till, did u have any luck regarding clarification on your site cost with carlisle? If they're to high, have a look at Henley perhaps? Did u know that the Boulevard is owned by Henley?! Second Build, this time with Carlisle 2016, can't wait! Most of Perth has class A (sandy soil), except for some areas near rivers or hills. 2 12983 Is anyone building with Mojo and have a recent site cost tender 0 15907 Henley should give you some indication of site costs.
