Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Sep 27, 2015 12:57 am Hi all, I am planning to use a very large 735x735 tile as my splash back tile. The problem is, the main wall it will be seen on (behind the stove) is 2420mm which means I will need 3.29 tiles to cover the area. I am thinking of changing this wall size to 2205 and having the overheads and range hood mounted at 735mm (instead of 700) so I can fit 3 full tiles on the wall. This change would save me 20cm of Essastone (not a huge saving) and allow me to put in a 720 door to my scullery in lieu of a 620. If I don't make these changes, I will have to slice up a very beautiful tile and that is a hard thing for me, as I have a bit of a soft spot for tiles.. Opinions?
