It seems the plumber has thrown out the old water meter and hooked up new plumbing directly to water mains.
I was wondering whether this happened to anyone and how did you go about getting a new water meter.
(whats involved and any costs etc.)

Hey, when we had our water meter installed it cost us $1450, this was on a new build but should be pretty similar, I imagine it would vary between each council though. Have you tried your local council's website because ours had a price list on there.
