Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Sep 09, 2015 2:22 pm Hey everyone , Iv just purchased a block of land in the watagan estate at cooranbong nsw which settles on the 23rd .Its a sloping 2200m2 block with nice bush views. Quotes ranging from 100k for site costs to 60k and we are waiting on tullipan homes to produce a formal quote as they seem to be the best in service and pretty good on cost . What are people experience with tullipan and/or have any suggestions of other builders. We have spoken to wincrest who have said it woukd cost over 100k site cost and and montgomery where simular cost to tullipan but i have had friends have issue with their quality. Re: Building in watagan estate at cooranbong 2Sep 09, 2015 2:39 pm Congrats on your block that's a lovely estate. The Tullipan display home at Cameron Park is lovely and I know they are a family owned business. They were too expensive for what we were after but I have heard the quality is good. You must be very happy. Yeah we are over the moon. Should be in by june maybe may. Whats the go with such a long wait to start ? Re: Building in watagan estate at cooranbong 11Feb 23, 2016 7:54 pm Oh wow, June how awsome! It's looking great! Our builder merged with QLD office, sacked heaps of staff & now the process is just SLOW, should be starting in the next week or so which will be so exciting! Re: Building in watagan estate at cooranbong 13Feb 24, 2016 5:04 am It's a big learning curve for us also, thanks I hope it's a quick build too! All the best with your build, keep updating your thread love seeing progress 😊 This is mine viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80626&hilit=oracle Re: Building in watagan estate at cooranbong 14Feb 24, 2016 10:25 am Congrats on your slab! We should FINALLY have ours poured today after 10 weeks. Even if it's not being sub-divided and you want to keep it as Torrens title, you will still need to talk to a town planner or Council themselves, to see if they will allow… 1 11469 Not unless you have managed to put it as a special condition into the contract somehow. 1 6397 |
