Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Sep 07, 2015 2:45 pm Hellooo Helloo, I’m a long time stalker on here & have found a wealth of knowledge so far so thought why not start my own thread! We’re first home buyers and have recently bought land in Clyde Vale estate in Clyde North which is expected to title Feb 16, Construction wise we kept going back and forth between Urban Edge, Henley & Carlisle and ultimately decided on Carlisle purely on the free flooring promo! We’re going to be building the RIVA 29 (ill post our floor plan below). we’ve had a few issues already though everything seems so rushed and nothing was explained properly by our sales consultant (We tried to change consultants but we got our quote just before the price rise so therefore had to stick with her if we wanted the lower base price) we’ve been back and forth between our sales & CLE numerous times making changes. Booked in for Colour selections on October 7th, Tender on November 9th . Changes we’ve made so far are Entertainer slider doors in lieu of Window as per display (two sets of slider doors) Extended the Kitchen benchtop to 1000mm Drawers in lieu of towel holder in ensuite Render to front of façade (As per display) A few cavity sliders Undermount sink Niche to ensuite & bathroom Silk Laminate to Kitchen Cupboards. Dreading our electrical selections though, they seem so overpriced but we want to get it out of the way and rather spend our savings on landscaping, drive ways ect!
