Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Should I complain to Building Commission or not? 87Aug 07, 2008 1:42 pm Hi everyone, I thought I will update you all.
Seems like, things have started moving along, The slab work has been done, there are still points that I am not happy with, which have been addressed to our builder. A lot of Plasters came out of the walls, the frame was fixed and new plaster went up again. The big sliding door has been replaced. The fixing Carpenter is due tomorrow to fix the remaining points. There are still lot of walls that I am not happy with, which I have a meeting with our Construction Manager tomorrow and I will address them, and see when they are going to be fixed. The heating system ducts seems to be installed, I can not actually check if the unit has been installed yet or not. Still do not have a firm completion day, but from the verbal estimate of 6-7 weeks, now we have 4 weeks left. Off course I am still waiting for the engineering reports, which I hope will be soon. Good things, Things are moving along, but slowly. Bad things, still a lot of points that needs to fixed/completed More updates to follow.
