Re: New Gen build Prestart - Landsdale WA 52Dec 12, 2015 1:43 pm Sorry Jpmontoya, I've missed a fair few notifications I think I feel the laundry has a bit of wasted space. It's a long laundry and I guess I'm not used to that much space. I'm s functional person and this isn't functional enough. My hubby supplies laminates to Cabinet makers so I think I'll leave it basic for now and get additional things later on Our Easystart Build in Annie's Landing https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81061&p=1478674#p1478674 Re: New Gen build Prestart - Landsdale WA 55Dec 30, 2015 1:15 pm Nice plan..great layout of kitchen & laundry..posting to follow. Our build - Moved In! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=79629 Re: New Gen build Prestart - Landsdale WA 57Jan 23, 2016 11:19 pm So I have a question for all. I missed adding conduits via intelligent homes, thinking builder will allow to add those. So I need to get conduits for alarm panel as I intend to install it after handover... Do I esquire conduit for alarm panel or am I worrying for nothing ? Re: New Gen build Prestart - Landsdale WA 58Jan 23, 2016 11:25 pm I think, like installing more GPO's doing it on an external wall you can run wires in between the bricks. So I think it's ok that you've left it out. It can be done at a later stage Our Easystart Build in Annie's Landing https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81061&p=1478674#p1478674 Re: New Gen build Prestart - Landsdale WA 60Jan 24, 2016 9:43 am jpmontoya So I have a question for all. Do I esquire conduit for alarm panel or am I worrying for nothing ? Hi Mate, I was told by one of my builders staff that I can only do the conduit with IH which turned out to be wrong. Clipsal can also do them and its a 25mm Conduit. If its going to be on an internal wall, I would recommend you do it through Clipsal which is cheaper by around 20 AUD per conduit even though its a slightly smaller Conduit. If you have already done the plan, I would recommend you amend it now as it only costs you around a 100 AUD or so to amend the plan. But it will be pain in bum if you end up doing it later. You will need to wire, patch and repaint. Hope this helps Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense.
