Thank you so much - I told all of you first (before family) as you all understand. Lol. Very excited - hopefully handover goes to plan and I just hand over the bank cheque and they hand over the keys!!! I still can't believe it.

Our SS was again awesome and let the side of the house get poured today (just plain concrete) and the drive is ready to go tomorrow!!! It's all happening. Booked an antenna guy (should have had boutique do it as the price is the same), booked the plantation shutter installation and booked my electrician mate to come work his magic too. Oh and our new bed - it's going to be a busy weekend!!!!

So we have been in our Airlie for almost 9 weeks!!!! Wow. I can't believe it. We LOVE the house. We have certainly had some issues to resolve but they are happening. Our main battle has been with Telstra. Still can't get a phone or Internet - it's painful.

The main issues are/were:
- heating and aircon not connected properly
- solar hot water faulty
- floorboards moving; gaps
- blocked pipes
- gas cook top had poor flow (the tube was twisted behind the oven)
- stone in pantry is bigger than the sink so accessories don't fit
- grout in master is poor in some spots
- and some poorly painted areas need review

All have been fixed, just the stone, grout and paint to go. All in all we love the house. It's a bit overwhelming at times as the list of things to do and buy is huge and seems never ending.

The space is amazing though, and I completely love it, particularly the kitchen.
