Not sure how I agreed to this colour Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Shower screens in. It's all coming together!!! Blog: www.dapplegrey.com.au Re: Building with Boutique Homes Victoria - Airlie 38 62Jan 18, 2016 11:07 am Kitchen bench looks great!! So much more work space with the sink over to the side too. I looked up Urban on the Ceaserstone and it says its a brown/grey, I'd say its leaning the the brown side in your pics but on the website some pics it looks grey. See how it goes once everything is in its all looking great though! Re: Building with Boutique Homes Victoria - Airlie 38 63Jan 18, 2016 6:16 pm wow, it is beautiful. I am so glad to see this, as our kitchen is very similar to yours all white with sheen finish, and rectangular island (1400 x 3000)with water fall to both sides. And we upgraded the island benchtop and water fall to cat. 4 with 80mm edging. We didn’t change the plan much, except for adding guest bedroom downstairs and deleting the theatre. Re: Building with Boutique Homes Victoria - Airlie 38 65Jan 28, 2016 11:38 pm UPDATE: the wait is testing my patience at the moment. I'm busting to move in. Timber floors are in, except for a small section - think they ran out. Glass sliders on hubby's wardrobe are in. Frosted film is on bedrooms that overlook neighbours. It's all looking fantastic. Such a small amount to go, but it's just not getting done. (Well as quickly as I would like) Hubby is so much more patient than I am. School went back today and every second person was asking for a moving date. I just need one episode of The Block where 500 tradies squish themselves in and just get the job done Here are some pictures to enjoy in the meanwhile... You could have gloss or Matt finish. We went with Matt. Love it! Just saw carpet layers ??? and a digger, digging a hole in the front yard??? We are so close - I can feel it. Lol. With kids and pets I would go for matt I'm going to a few flooring places once the kids are back to school to get an idea of budget for what we want. Hopefully you don't have to wait too long! Re: Building with Boutique Homes Victoria - Airlie 38 70Feb 05, 2016 7:31 am How's the build coming along this week? You must be getting close now Follow my MainVue build viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81716 Re: Building with Boutique Homes Victoria - Airlie 38 71Feb 07, 2016 1:08 pm Hi camma18 - I'm pretty sure we are almost done. But no date as yet We had a problem last week - a section upstairs was flooded - possibly the aircon wasn't connected properly and it leaked all through the roof all over the carpet. It's completely saturated. Also water marks on the wall and bubbled paint. So sad - but glad it's happened before we move in. We've given notice on our rental so hopefully it doesn't delay us. Blog: www.dapplegrey.com.au Blog: www.dapplegrey.com.au Re: Building with Boutique Homes Victoria - Airlie 38 72Feb 07, 2016 8:36 pm That's a real shame about the water damage. But like you said; better for it to happen during construction than when you have moved in. It's a pain that there is no confirmed days for handover. From watching other's builds on this forum, it always seems like the last stage of constriction seems to progress so slowly. Hang in there, can't be too much longer! Re: Building with Boutique Homes Victoria - Airlie 38 74Feb 09, 2016 5:08 pm What a shame about the water leaking Hopefully it doesn't delay you too much. Fingers crossed for you Re: Building with Boutique Homes Victoria - Airlie 38 76Feb 14, 2016 10:57 pm Blog: www.dapplegrey.com.au Re: Building with Boutique Homes Victoria - Airlie 38 78Mar 01, 2016 1:18 pm Ok - so we are still waiting!!! We had our New Home Presentation last Monday, and then the follow up last night (Monday). Unfortunately we are still unhappy. There are still some paint touch ups to be done, and the master ensuite tiles are still very dirty. They need to be scrubbed, not mopped!!! The master ensuite toilet paint job is pretty bad - I would say it's lucky to have 2 coats - not even close to the 3 that we paid for. Where the flooding was, the damage on the wall is still really rough. And other than that, just a few random paint fix ups throughout. We are getting there. Hopefully the painters can get there this afternoon or tomorrow. It's disappointing it's still not finished but we aren't going to hand over that final cheque until we are happy. This is the most amount of money we have spent we want it to be right. Now that it is March - I guess handover will be in March. Lol.
