Browse Forums Building A New House Re: My build in Serpentine with Redink! 81Jul 15, 2016 5:25 pm Hi again Teresa - do hope you have a slab when you get out there this weekend. We have just had our interim BAL report done, and then will finalise our application to Shire for the moving of the building envelope. I have a slab for Christmas on my radar, but think that could be optimistic - I hear that REDINK can be terribly slow in house. . Re: My build in Serpentine with Redink! 82Jul 15, 2016 5:33 pm Thank you I hope so too! Our shire (SJ) were been really quick with approvals for us, around 2 months instead of the 3 they predict.. We called them each week though and liaised with Redink on any queries they had so maybe they were sick of hearing from us haha. I think before Christmas is very realistic, the only delays we have had have been due to the bank really, Redink have been ready to get started since 20th June. Also they have been very quick builds in our area, one home on our street has been slab to lock up in less than 6 weeks, so we are seeing how long it will take to key handover from there. But there was another house that had slab down a bit closer to us, and they were in their home before Christmas. Fingers crossed but I still think we are looking at January or February for ours. I hope your approvals go through really quick! Re: My build in Serpentine with Redink! 85Jul 17, 2016 5:44 pm We bought in July and got titles in march 😊 Re: My build in Serpentine with Redink! 89Jul 17, 2016 9:41 pm Thanku. Such a long wait. We had an email from the developer staying they expected it would take 2 weeks. My partner though otherwise. Gosh I hope we are not waiting that long. They only just applied ? Re: My build in Serpentine with Redink! 91Jul 17, 2016 10:19 pm Shannon B Hay Teresa22 just wondered if you can tell us how long you waited for titles to be issued after the developer applied? We are waiting for titles for stage 9b It should be approx 10 business days from the date of application for new titles with landgates current turn around time Re: My build in Serpentine with Redink! 92Jul 19, 2016 4:14 pm Shannon B Thanku. Such a long wait. We had an email from the developer staying they expected it would take 2 weeks. My partner though otherwise. Gosh I hope we are not waiting that long. They only just applied ? Hi Shannon, I am Teresa's hubby I thought I will create an account as well With Titles as Teresa said we bought the land in July with titles expected in April but they come in March. Before we got titles the developer told us the same expected in 2 weeks and we got them in 2 weeks so don't worry about delays. If you have any further questions please don't hesitate in asking.
