Browse Forums Building A New House Re: My build in Serpentine with Redink! 141Sep 18, 2016 6:35 pm Not much changed this week, all the power and water have been chased in. We asked for a 32mm conduit to put in from the 300mm mark to the 1240mm to allow cabling from the DVR to connect to the TV. The plans only say conduit to 1240mm so they have done it from the ceiling down. I wonder if they will fixed it, I have all the e-mails asking for this. Fingers crossed if not I guess we won't wall mount the T.Vs This week the colour bond roof goes up, can't wait to see the colour. We picked it out in December I hope it goes with the bricks. Re: My build in Serpentine with Redink! 143Sep 18, 2016 7:33 pm Hi spuddles, yeah ours is meant to look the same will try and get them to fix it. Just worried as the plans don't state it should come from the floor. Just looked at your pic do you have power in the middle of the wall or are they all at 300mm Re: My build in Serpentine with Redink! 144Sep 18, 2016 7:38 pm Left to right are: Power 32mm Conduit 20mm conduit with TV cable 32mm 300mm to 1500mm conduit X2 Power Re: My build in Serpentine with Redink! 145Sep 18, 2016 7:49 pm Hi spuddles, I am Teresa's hubby I think she means it doesn't look like you have a power point at the mid wall height. So when you mount your TV to the wall you will see the power cord as it's connected to the lower points Re: My build in Serpentine with Redink! 146Sep 18, 2016 8:38 pm My bad. No power point at mid wall. We will run power down through one of the conduits. Re: My build in Serpentine with Redink! 147Sep 24, 2016 10:09 am Redink have agreed to fix the conduit error as it was Prestarts fault for keying the wrong information. But they are charging us the difference of what we paid and what we should of paid, it's only $100 show didn't fight it. But since it took them 4 days to agree to the fix (as first they said since we signed of on the plans its not their problem, so we had to proof what we actually wanted and it shouldn't be our fault that we notice a technical wording error) the cement flood has started and the theatre wall has been done. Well any way the progress is moving fast I wonder how long it will take to get to lock up now.
